Helping your business grow in the 21st century

Needs Analysis :

Fran Lambert is the a professional hair extensionist and through her own business "The Human Hair Extension Company" is able to follow her passion for hair care and practice the skills she has gained through her qualifications. The Human Hair Extension Company She has many competitors and because she will be offering a service from a single location her geographical customer base will be restricted to the outlaying area. Fran wanted to reflect her professional approach, her experience and skills as a technician and her need for perfection. Also the site needed to put peoples feelings at ease about the proccess, and show past client success. As well as targeting the young, Fran wanted to attract the more mature client too.

Solution:

This was found in Four areas. Web site design; Optimization; Internet marketing; and Monitoring and review.

Web site design: All business, if they are going to stand out from the crowd need to offer something unique. Something her other competitors were not providing. This called for a great deal of site research to get an idea of what other web sites in this genre were offering. Then matching Frans needs (i.e. to appear as a technician, her hair-care and perfectionism) with the gaps that were found created a unique syle that reflected a more professional approach. Following on from on from this the overall feel of the site has a more elite feel than a flashy fashion approach.

Internet marketing: "Google it!" is fast becoming a part of our everyday language. People are realising that you can find local busines and services on the internet. The internet is fast becoming peoples first port of call. So in this situation it was important to refer to all the major search engines and also to the appropriate local business directories. Another important area is" content copyright". This means configuring the content so keywords that the search engine spiders will pick up are filtered throughout the site.

Optimization: This meant configuring the site to allow the the majority of browsers, computers with varying download speeds, and different monitor resolutions to b able to view it. Jpg's and giffs needed to be optimised to ensure downloads did not hinder users enjoyment of the site and send them elsewhere.

Monitoring and Review:markets2000 believe that most sites are successful through a mixture of traditional and Internet Marketing but most of all it is a case of evolution. It takes time and it does not happen over night. Again by analysing statistical data returned from the site, adaptions can be made and hopefully page ranking improves.

"I tried a different company and was given a quote three times what markets2000 offered. I did the needs analysis with Nick Cassells and I believe he took these areas into consideration in designing the site. Nick still stays in contact to review the site and adapt any changes that maybe needed."
